RatioLab documentation
Read the canonical RatioLab guides: installation, the desktop workflow, optional CAD integrations, local MCP and technical references.
First launch
- Download RatioLab for your desktop platform.
- Follow the installation guide for system requirements, signing limitations and first launch.
- Choose a model, set dimensions, inspect the 3D preview and export your design.
Explore the guides
These English pages are built directly from the documentation in the same source checkout. Every build also refreshes the local full-content search index.

Strain-wave reference
Prescribed deformation, generated ring and numerical checks.
Bevel differential reference
Independent inputs, configurations, geometry and kinematic limits.
Understanding the models
RatioLab includes ten gear and transmission families, including bevel differentials. The five interactive models on the homepage are illustrations of selected mechanisms. Refer to the user guide and technical references for supported configurations, equations and limitations. Nominal geometry and ideal motion do not certify strength, service life or manufacturing readiness.
SolidCraft, Autodesk Fusion and the local MCP server are optional integrations. The website and its documentation are static; searches run locally in your browser.
